The Local Police of Mogán arrested a man on the night of January 3 for an alleged crime against public health when they intercepted him

The Local Police of Mogán arrested a man on the night of January 3 for an alleged crime against public health when they intercepted him dealing cocaine in the Puerto Rico Shopping Center. They also confiscated seven wrappers with cocaine and 120 euros divided into twenty bills.

During the exercise of their control and surveillance functions, two agents witnessed two individuals shaking hands in greeting for a considerable time after 22:30 p.m., which seemed to indicate they were carrying out a transaction.

When these two men realized the police presence, they tried to leave the scene in opposite directions. However, the agents intercepted one of them, who was carrying a cell phone and two small bags with seven wrappers containing a white substance, suspected cocaine. During the body search they found another mobile phone and 120 euros in 20 bills.

The agents asked him about the other individual, the supposed buyer, but the person then detained stated that he was just his cousin and that he had given him money to eat. The agents, after requesting support from another colleague in the area, managed to locate the alleged buyer in a pub of the aforementioned establishment, and he, when questioned, gave a different version, stating that it was simply a greeting between fellow countrymen.

Finally, the Mogán Local Police arrested the alleged seller and transferred him to the police headquarters in order to carry out the corresponding procedures. Later he was transferred to the Civil Guard, where he remains in custody until he is brought to justice.
