Jesús Olivares, known as Suso for his participation in the fourth edition of 'The Island of Temptations' as a bachelor, faces a request for an eleven-year prison sentence from the Prosecutor's Office, accused of allegedly raping a minor in the Puerto Rico Shopping Center.
The Canary Islander was also convicted in November of mistreating his partner, the model Paola López. Olivares was convicted on November 6, 2023 for the crime of abuse in the family. Prior to that attack, López She already reported him in July 2023 for another episode of gender violence. On that occasion the case was dismissed after the complainant decided not to testify.
According to Canarias 7, Olivares is accused of allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl of Dutch nationality. Some events that would have occurred in April 2018 in the Energy pub in the Puerto Rico Shopping Center. The alleged victim went to the pub in the company of other people close to her. It was there where he met the host of the Telecinco program, who was with another friend, Miguel Ángel L.A., who is also accused of raping the young woman.
Both face "11 years in prison, disqualification from employment or public office for six years, a ban on approaching a distance of no less than 500 meters and communicating with the victim for 15 years, and supervised release for a period of six years. and the obligation for both to participate in training, work and sexual education programs". If convicted, they must also compensate the minor with 20.000 euros. The trial is scheduled for June 3 before the First Section of the Provincial Court of Las Palmas.
