Journalist Jorge Méndez was inform Maspalomas24H about Eustasio López taking executive reins of the day-to-day operations of Lopesan after a period of distancing when the dwarfs appear.

The Spanish press has come out in a rush this week to attack the president of Lopesan, Eustasio López, due to a complaint about financial management in the purchase of the participation of one of the partners of Santana Cazorla and that allows you automatic control of Anfi del Mar, the bankrupt timeshare vacation company. Lopesan made that purchase via IFA Hotels. But it is also true that these attacks are produced by the inferiority complex that its managers have when it comes to not remembering that Lopesan is no longer just a Canarian company but a global company like Freiremar was in its time, which came to have a presence direct in 17 countries. Lopesan operates in five States of the Eurozone and in Latin America in addition to Thailand.

For years, Lopesan has been paying to be attacked and the peninsular capital from Madrid does not forgive that a Canarian is the largest tour operator on the islands and is among the top 10 in Spain. The entire complaint is based on the use of alleged prohibited documentation found in a meeting room of the Santana Cazorla Group, "after a meeting of the company's partners was held last September," says Economía Digital. To all this, we must add that the chain is a partner of the Madrid newspaper 'El Español' headed by Pedro J. Ramírez. One of the media outlets that has attacked Lopesan shares interests with the Canarian group in El Español, where Francisco López sits on the board of directors.

Lopesan, who lacks a communications office since everything she does is mixed with marketing since Paco Moreno left the position to take up other responsibilities in the audiovisual sector, was involved this week in an unmitigated attack by El Confidencial, which headlined, "Dirty war, fraud and ruin: the cause that has brought the owner of Lopesan to justice" and added that "the earth is moving under the feet of Eustasio López, the largest fortune in the Canary Islands: a judge has cited him as accused of disloyal administration to harm its historical rival".

For its part, Economía Digital indicated that "Eustasio López, the first Canarian fortune, accused of fraud for trying to sink a competitor" and highlighted that "Baker & McKenzie's star lawyer, Jesús Santos, represents the businessmen who have filed a complaint against Eustasio López, pending trial for an alleged case of child prostitution." The digital newspaper of Galician origin and based in Barcelona adds that one of Lopesan's lawyers is Juan Arencibia, whom the "Prosecutor's Office requires five and a half years in prison for Juan José Arancibia for allegedly collaborating in the laundering of the Kokorev case" in favor of of Teodoro Obiang, head of State of Equatorial Guinea.
