Spar Mogán, a food distribution chain from the island capital, has strengthened its commitment to the south of Gran Canaria with the opening of a new commercial establishment in Resort Cordial Santa Águeda. The company reported this Wednesday that it aims to continue being a leader in the proximity format on the island at the hands of leading companies in the Canarian hotel sector such as Cordial.
With this new opening, the fifth of 2021, the supermarket chain increases its commercial area and reaches 27 points of sale in this municipality, adding a total of 195 supermarkets on the island of Gran Canaria.
The Spar project in Cordial occupies a relevant space in the area's distribution sector, highlighting its position in the proximity model, supermarkets with less than 300 square meters of sales room. Spar Mogán offers a business model that allows each supermarket to be managed autonomously and professionally, with a recognized brand and a complete service and assortment. The company has developed a powerful logistics network that includes various distribution platforms on the island. The new Spar Express has an innovative bakery and pastry section that offers customers different varieties of bread baked daily in the store itself. SPAR Express El Pajar is located within the Cordial Santa Águeda Resort and its opening hours are Monday to Sunday and holidays from 8:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m.
