Mayor Marco Aurelio Pérez presents the poster for the 2024 edition at Fitur, which will be held from July 19 to 21
The mayor of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Marco Aurelio Pérez Sánchez, presented this afternoon at Fitur, the Madrid Tourist Fair, the poster announcing the next Maspalomas Costa Canaria Soul Festival, prepared by Gran Canaria illustrator Noboru Takahashi.
Once again under the artistic direction of promoters Dania Dévora and Graziano Uliani, the 2024 Maspalomas Soul Festival will once again be held on the blonde sand of San Agustín Beach from July 19 to 21.
The Festival, which this year will celebrate its eighth edition, has managed to consolidate itself under the organization and sponsorship of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council and the production of DD & Company, which are already working on the preparation of the concert program and the careful selection of artists.
Mayor Marco Aurelio Pérez highlights the “enormous and important cultural attraction” offered by the Maspalomas Costa Canaria Soul Festival, “a festival with soul that in just eight years has become a very solid musical benchmark on the international circuit for its offer of first level".
In the last edition of 2023, the artistic cast was made up of Bobby Rush, Mizz Lowe, Charlie Wood, Dan Dombrowne, John Nemeth, Katrina Anderson, Robin Mckelle, The Blues Paddlers, The Bo-keys, The Norman Sisters and the Family Soul Band .
The Festival management, currently immersed in hiring the artistic cast that will participate in the 2024 edition, guarantees that “the Memphis sound will return.” It is planned that throughout the month of February a preview of the final programming will be able to be presented.
