In the ordinary session of the Mogán Plenary Session held this Monday, the public utility of the land occupied by a road intended for vehicle traffic on Damasco and Delioma streets in Arguineguín, whose ownership is held by the Bello del Castillo family, was declared. In the same way, it has been approved to begin the procedure of forced expropriation of the indicated area, of just over 3.000 square meters.
The road in question connects road traffic between the towns of Pino Seco and Loma I, as well as access to them from the entrance to the municipality on the GC-1. Likewise, along it, specifically on Damasco Street, there is direct access to the IES Arguineguín, the Health Center, the Social Services building and the municipal underground parking.
For all these reasons, it has been approved to declare its public utility to proceed to begin the forced expropriation of that part that occupies privately owned land, which is the part between the IES Arguineguín and the Autotaxis Cooperative.
After the approval of this agreement with the votes in favor of the groups present (Together for Mogán and PSOE), the corresponding departments will be requested to report and certify on the classification and categorization of the land to be expropriated, assessing whether it is actually being used. in its entirety or if there is no ownership title or dominion over it, resorting if necessary to the commissioning of a topographic survey or any other report for the purposes of carrying out the necessary steps to formulate the appreciation sheet and quantify the fair price. of expropriation.
