After a dry month of January, rain is expected to arrive in the archipelago this weekend. The AEMET has announced that this change in trend could begin to be noticed this Friday with rain in the interior area of Gran Canaria, which would extend during the weekend with moderate rainfall.

According to AEMET forecasts, the western islands will be the most affected by this storm, with La Palma and El Hierro with more rainfall during the weekend. In the south - southeast area of Gran Canaria, during the weekend there will be maximum temperatures that will not exceed 23 degrees and minimum temperatures below 20. The greatest rainfall is expected during the afternoon of Saturday.
