The Department of Local Development of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council will offer next Monday, February 12, an instructional session of help for people over 45 years of age who are looking for work.
This session will be held at the Maspalomas Cultural Center, from 10.00:11.45 a.m. to 45:XNUMX a.m. with the collaboration of the Makers of Change Association. Its objective is to publicize the 'Silver XNUMX Program and its support networks' to older people in the municipality who are actively seeking employment or considering a process of professional reinvention.
The Silver 45 Program, subsidized by the Citizen Participation service of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, will offer participants dynamics for the acquisition of skills aimed at creating or expanding the network of professional contacts and maintaining them over time, and will teach what they can be. the personal and social keys to which the unemployed must pay greater attention to be more employable and how to access job offers. It will also insist on the importance of transversal skills in the world of work.
The second deputy mayor and councilor for Local Development, Elena Álamo Vega, values the interest that this initiative is arousing, dedicated to guiding unemployed people over 45 years of age with a series of tips that can help facilitate their job search.
