A 27-year-old woman who, at the initial moment of care, presented with head trauma and other serious injuries, recovered from cardiorespiratory arrest and transferred in a medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
A 50-year-old male who, at the initial moment of care, presented various serious traumas to the face and lower limbs, was transported in a medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
Second 50-year-old man who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented serious trauma to the chest and lower extremities, transferred in a medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the Dr. Negrín University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
A second 20-year-old woman who, at the initial time of assistance, presented with moderate injuries, was transferred in a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the Dr. Negrín University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
Third 61-year-old woman who, at the initial moment of care, presented moderate hip trauma, transferred in a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the Dr. Negrín University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
When the Consortium firefighters arrived at the scene of the incident, they found that three people were trapped in the vehicles, so they proceeded to free them so they could receive medical assistance. The SUC sent four ambulances to the area to evaluate, assist and transport the injured to the island's hospitals. Among the injured treated, a woman suffered cardiorespiratory arrest, on whom the medical team performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers that managed to reverse the arrest and two other victims who had serious injuries were taken to the hospital where they were admitted in serious condition. The other two victims had moderate injuries.
Police services, the Agüimes Local Police and the Civil Guard, carried out the corresponding procedures.
