Johny Logan fills the Yumbo shopping center plaza

The Eurovision Johny Logan filled the plaza of the Yumbo shopping center in Maspalomas on Thursday night. The singer, very proud to return to Gran Canaria after 21 years, put the finishing touch to a night of music and entertainment. 

 

For Logan it is a pleasure to perform on a stage such as the Maspalomas Winter Pride: “I feel very lucky to be able to perform in Maspalomas, I like its audience, they are wonderful people.”  

He wanted to send a message to the LGTBI group: “I have always been very committed to the group, it is not the first pride in which I have performed, I have done it in other places in Europe, such as in Manchester. I am sorry that events like these, which are so necessary, could not be held due to this pandemic.”

 

 

 

But not only the Eurovision show encourages a very dedicated audience throughout the night. The evening began with a batucada that made its way through the audience.

They also enjoyed live performances by Amanda Wilson, member of the house music band Freemasons, and German Daniel Schuhmacher, winner of the German Pop Idol edition. 

 

Thanks to the Maspalomas Winter Pride, the Yumbo shopping center once again brings back its massive parties, with all the recommended safety and hygiene measures, which tourists have received very well.
