The intervention carried out by the Department of Public Works has focused on two points: in the La Plata neighborhood and next to Barranco del Negro. This last point is of special interest to the Ministry since, in winter, when it rains, waterfalls usually occur that attract the interest of residents and tourists who usually park on the side of the road to take images, with the risk that entails. landslides in case of heavy rains.

The Public Works technicians explained to Minister Hidalgo that in these two sections there are clearing slopes on the left bank in which landslides have occurred continuously in recent years, and hence they have proceeded to their stabilization and treatment.
