A fighter has had to return in an emergency to the Gando military base after an incident during its maneuvers east of Gran Canaria. The emergency maneuver was carried out without major incidents, both for the aircraft and the pilot.
The official account of Air Controllers (@controladores) shared this event on its social networks shortly after learning of the incident, for which the reason is unknown.
The incident caused some delays in the arrival of commercial aircraft at the airport due to the device deployed to attend the arrival of the military plane. In total, about six planes had to hover around the airfield before they could touch down.
