Reflecting its commitment to the Canarian heritage and its culture, the SPAR Gran Canaria group continues to be the exclusive sponsor of the 'Family Visits' program of El Museo Canario. Thus, the project maintains its structure in 2024, with a monthly activity held on a Sunday. The 'Family Visits' will once again have a playful and participatory nature, with a variety of proposals such as workshops, games, dramatized visits and dynamic tours.
The success of the initiative was consolidated again last year, in which a total of 129 families participated in the 12 days of 'Family Visits', with a total of 346 attendees, of which 196 corresponded to boys and girls between 4 and 12 years old and 150 adults.
The second 'Family Visit' to be held this year will take place this Sunday, February 25, with a painting workshop. The programming for this 2024 will continue with the 'Handmade' workshop visit, with a day of storytelling, with the workshops 'Design your exhibition', 'Writing in time' and 'Archaeology workshop', as well as with visits and workshops to the museum, where families will be able to discover the ways and conditions of life of the Gran Canaria aboriginal population. To attend upcoming visits, those interested can consult the schedule and register through the El Museo Canario website and social networks.
