Around 15:51 p.m. The Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert in which they reported that a 55-year-old woman with signs of drowning had been rescued from the water on the beach of Puerto Rico, Mogán. .
1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
The beach lifeguards provided the first assistance to the affected woman until the arrival of health personnel from the health center and the SUC who continued with the care, performing basic and advanced resuscitation maneuvers, without success, thus confirming her death.
Police services took charge of the corresponding procedures.
