A delegation from the Palma City Council held a meeting this Tuesday with the mayor of and the president of Ecoaga to learn about the management and conservation model of Arinaga
The mayor of the municipality of Puntallana, Victor Guerra, accompanied by technicians from the La Palma town council, was received this Tuesday by the mayor of Agüimes, Óscar Hernández, by Juan Acosta and Sergio Robaina, president and manager of the Conservation Entity of the Industrial Zone of Arinaga (Ecoaga), respectively. The objective of the visit was to take as a reference the management model of the Conservation Entity, in order to adopt a similar model in its business area of 28.000 square meters, which aspires to become a development axis of the northwest region of La Palm.
The Palm delegation was able to learn in depth about Ecoaga's management, the services it provides to land owners and companies installed in the industrial zone, as well as its tax advantages. In addition, they showed interest in sustainability projects, including photovoltaic canopies, the energy community or the waste treatment plant.
