The Local Police of Mogán have arrested a man for a crime against public health in Playa de Mogán, specifically after searching him and finding that he was carrying hashish and eighteen wrappers with cocaine, in addition to 165 euros divided into 50, 20 and 5 euro bills. .
The events occurred around 19:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27. Two plainclothes officers noticed a man riding an electric scooter at high speed and talking on the phone on Las Artes Avenue in the seaside town of Playa de Mogán. When they stop him to report an infraction classified in the municipal ordinance regulating the circulation of bicycles, cycles and Personal Mobility Vehicles (VMP), they notice his nervousness and decide to search him.
That's when they discover that he has 165 euros in one of his pockets divided into two 50 bills, three 20 bills and one 5 euro bill, while in the other he has a knife. Given the man's suspicion and attitude, they decide to carry out a body search, finding in his underwear a brown token of what appears to be hashish and a small plastic container with 18 wrappers of alleged cocaine inside. When the two agents asked about these substances, the intercepted person answered that he “tries to make a living,” thus acknowledging the crime for which he was finally arrested.
The Local Police of Mogán took him to the police headquarters in order to carry out the corresponding procedures for his subsequent transfer to the Civil Guard.
