The Tourism Minister of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, Carlos Álamo, visited the Sahera Boutique Hotel in the municipality of Telde, a hotel establishment that has eleven rooms that has been possible thanks to the initiative of local businessman Juan Sánchez.
The councilor was accompanied by the municipal spokesperson for the PSOE of Telde, Alejandro Ramos, the also socialist councilor, Héctor León and the member of the local executive of the PSOE in Telde, Norberto Medina.
The new tourist establishment is the second hotel to be added to the city of faycanes and is considered eco-friendly, due to its adaptation to sustainability and respect for the environment.
The counselor pointed out that this establishment “adds to a first-class accommodation offer in Gran Canaria and will also allow a part of the tourist's spending to stay in the municipality of Telde, in its tourist, gastronomic and commercial offer. For us it is important that all municipalities have a quality tourist offer and first-class accommodation, both in classic and rural formats, since we understand that all our municipalities have important things to contribute and the sum of all of them makes us a better destination. The client knows us better, leaves the hotel more and we manage to increase both client spending and billing.”
