The 16-year-old Tirajano juduca, who belongs to the Bushican Sports Club, attended the Spanish Super Cup after a forced four-month break due to a shoulder operation with a difficult recovery. However, the sensations that he has left in said championship are very hopeful for his next sporting events in the cadet category during 2024, such as the Gran Canaria and Canary Islands championships, the European Cups in Berlin and Coimbra and the from Spain and Europe.
Aixel, recently recognized along with other teammates from his club by Mayor Marco Aurelio Pérez and the Sports Councilor, Ramón Suárez Ojeda, began practicing judo as an extracurricular activity, at the age of five, at the CEIP Alcalde Marcial Franco. In 2023 he was champion of Spain, bronze in the European Cup in Fuengirola, silver in the European Cup in Coimbra and bronze in the Cadet Olympics in Máribor (Slovenia).
