PP-AV demands the involvement of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana government group to alleviate the altercations that occurred in the municipality

Newsroom Monday, November 15, 2021

PP-AV criticizes the inaction of the municipal government of San Bartolomé de Tirajana in the face of the brutal fight that occurred this weekend

The situation experienced in the main tourist municipality of the Canary Islands, San Bartolomé de Tirajana, during this weekend 12/11/2021 is becoming repetitive, it is not the first time that this type of altercations and acts of vandalism have occurred and this is worrying. very much to those who visit us and to those of us who live here.

From PP-AV we demand responsibility from the Mayor's Office, the Police Councilor and the Tourism Councilor who are acting with silence as a response.

“It is essential that as public officials we have a clear and forceful message to reassure the population and, above all, and most importantly, a roadmap that guarantees that they are really acting against this citizen insecurity that we are experiencing,” stressed the spokesperson. of the PP-AV Elena Álamo Vega.

“It is important to convey an accurate message of tranquility and political involvement in this matter. And in order to give a message of tranquility, it is necessary to act and to do so, actions must be coordinated with the State Security Forces and Corps.

Protecting our destination from tourists and neighbors is our obligation as their representatives and that is why we must act.” The municipal spokesperson for PP-AV pointed out.

“It's okay to sell so much smoke and not provide solutions to municipal problems.”

From our municipal political group PP-AV we have requested a meeting with the FEHT (Federation of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs) to make ourselves available as always to offer the strength of our political group in order to improve the situation and continue working for our tourism industry .
