More than twenty members of the Civil Guard participated in the eviction of a squat building in the Los Llanos area due to a fire
A multitude of members of the Civil Guard and the Local Police have participated in the eviction of a squat building in Vecindario, near the Mercadona supermarket in the Los Llanos area.
The neighbors report that the building, located between Goya Street and Tenerife Street, has been squatted for more than a decade by a multitude of people who have caused various problems and inconveniences among the residents of the area.
According to the Civil Guard, the eviction occurred due to a fire that started this morning inside the building. There are more than a dozen Civil Guard and Local Police vehicles in the area, whose agents have had to regulate traffic in the roundabout attached to the building.
Many residents are also in the vicinity of the building, surprised by the police deployment. The neighbors themselves affirm that for years they have denounced the unsustainable situation of that property, full of garbage and in terrible hygienic and sanitary conditions that can be seen from the street.
