Gran Canaria Tri, Bike & Run experiences notable growth with the incorporation of six prestigious hotel complexes

 

The asociación Gran Canaria Tri, Bike & Run, the official brand of Tourism of Gran Canaria and the main promoter of sports tourism in the outbound tourism markets, has experienced strong growth in recent months with the incorporation of six prestigious hotel complexes on the island. These are, specifically, tourist accommodations Radisson Blu Resort Gran Canaria, Hotel La Aldea Suites, Marina Suites, Salobre Hotel Resort & Serenity, H10 Playa Meloneras Palace y amphi of the sea. With these additions there are now sixteen hotels integrated into the association, all of them equipped with the necessary means to serve athletes, both elite and amateur. 

 

 

 

 

Aware of the enormous possibilities that the island offers for practicing outdoor sports throughout the year, thanks to its predominant spring climate, its varied terrain, its enormous network of trails and its first-class infrastructure, in 2011 it was decided to create of the Gran Canaria Tri, Bike & Run association, promoted by Gran Canaria Tourism and the Federation of Hotel and Tourism Entrepreneurs of Las Palmas with the aim of promoting the island as a destination for the practice of cycle tourism, triathlon and running in the markets national and international tourism.
