A Maspalomas Carnival cocktail route in the best hotels in the south of Gran Canaria is one of the proposals to end the month of March. They all offer different Carnival cocktails for an aperitif or after dinner, such as Aperol negroni, margaritas, guarapitas or smoked julep, as well as black rose, green mint, mojito, pina colada or whiskey sour.
Gyongyi Szabo, from RIU Palace Meloneras, has been awarded four prizes in the 2024 Maspalomas Carnival Cocktail Competition in its fourth edition. In the fourth edition of the Maspalomas Carnival Cocktail Competition, the Tau'ri cocktail, based on the Stargate series, has received four awards: first place in the Decoration, Tasting, Carnival Clothing category and second place in the General Award. Hospitality professor Esteban Fariña won the IV Maspalomas 2024 Carnival Cocktail Contest with a cocktail called 'Las Costureras' at an event of the Professional Association of Canary Islands Aboriginal Bartenders. The 'Orígenes' cocktail, by bartender María Rodríguez, from the Salobre Golf Serenity Hotel.
