Declares on April 3: Eustasio López faces a calm visit to the court by Santana Cazorla

The Court of Instruction number one of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria receives this April 3 Eustasio Lopez, president of Lopesan, due to a complaint by Alberto, Santiago and Virginia Santana Trujillo, of the Grupo Santana Cazorla group, against the president of Lopesan, Eustasio López, on account of the control of Anfi del Mar. The complaint by the children of Santiago Santana Cazorla against Its eternal competitor is led by the lawyer from the firm Baker & McKenzie, Jesús Santos, that is, the one who was the lawyer of the former president of BBVA, Francisco González, of the PP for the Bárcenas case, to Mikhail Fridman, the owner of the Dia supermarket chain or of the footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.

The lawsuit is not only against Eustasio López but also against those he performs as mariachis in Anfi del Mar: the brother of the patriarch Manuel Santana Cazorla, who legally has 49% of the capital of the company in dispute, the lawyer Juan Arencibia and Martín Jesús Suárez. He accuses the latter of being mere executors of the interests of Eustasio López and of not correctly addressing his obligations as members of the board of directors. In other words, Santana Cazorla accuses them of having turned against the enemy.

As Maspalomas24H already announced, prior to this court hearing Manuel Santana Cazorla has sent a letter to the Las Palmas court defending the sale operation for 20 million euros of his participation in Anfi del Mar in favor of IFA Hotels, that is, the hotel company owned by Lopesan that, after acquiring the shares of Lyng Group, allows it access to control of the European timeshare group based in Mogán.

In the text, Manuel Santana has requested that the procedure initiated by his family against IFA Hotels, that is, Lopesan, be annulled, placing himself and the president of Lopesan, Eustasio López, in the target of the operation. With this measure, Manuel Santana would be seeking to deactivate the complaint that has been filed to interrupt the commercial process of control of the company, which is currently in bankruptcy.

All this is for management control, that is, the purchases and sales of services. And although Lopesan is currently indirectly the largest shareholder of Anfi del Mar, the truth is that control of the industrial operations remains in the orbit of Santiago Santana Cazorla and other family members such as his children. The defense of the interests of Santiago Santana Cazorla in Anfi del Mar has described the sale of Manuel Santana Cazorla to IFA Hotels as "corrupt pact".
