When Begoña Gómez's favorite Business School appeared in Maspalomas

Don't worry, we're not going to say names. But always the same question: How do these people get to the south of Gran Canaria? And the usual answer: "people from Las Palmas." The Valley was defined in its meetings with tourism entrepreneurs as "an ecosystem of digital transformation, synonymous with talent development, innovation and entrepreneurship." Hotel chains and tourism promotion officials on the island took the bait since they were supported by the business elite. The peninsular society was seduced to open on the islands but it was a fiasco: the supposed leaders with whom they had dealt did not have sufficient investment capacity.

From there everyone creates whatever they want. Before Covid, the company tried to enter as a digital training unit for hotel companies in the south of Gran Canaria and, in fact, even a professor who was an expert in digital sales was selected. The Valley is the digital business school that appeared in the south of Gran Canaria looking for students and even teachers. Managers of companies with interests in tourism were even students. This week it became known that the training company located in Las Palmas had its space in a Sodecan property, on Avenida Marítima. That ended like everything that happens in the capital of the island: a bluff. You don't have to be very smart to know in advance because they always use the same scheme. Headquarters in Sodecan to the detriment of entrepreneurs in the real economy to whom it would deny space.

Before Covid19, the so-called Senior Management Program in Digital Business emerged which, as a businessman from Las Palmas said, "has helped me lose my fear of digital advancement, to strengthen many concepts of which I only had an idea." They say they like doing business in the digital environment but they only fit with the paper press. The business school finally left the Canary Islands because on the islands everything was talk and nothing was concrete.

In this agenda of making a living, with consulting firm Innova Next and The Valley business school they have received a total of 15,6 million euros in public contracts since Begoña Gómez, wife of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, recommended them for written through a letter. These contracts have been awarded by the ministries of Economy, Education, Industry, Transport, Labor and Social Security. Before the companies were recommended by Sánchez's wife, they had barely contracted with the State. The Valley's business on the islands was a fiasco.

The Valley business school, managed by the company The Valley Digital Business School SL, received three grants from the Official Credit Institute (ICO) in September 2021 of 220.000, 96.000 and 60.000 euros. The office that this consultancy has in Barcelona also received two grants from the same organization, each of them for 26.000 euros. These news published by El Debate further complicate Begoña Gómez's role as an intermediary for companies that later have a relationship with the public Administration.

In Madrid the newspaper 'El Debate' has revealed all the contracts that the consulting firms endorsed by Begoña Gómez have received from the Government. This Tuesday, José Antonio Sánchez's El Confidencial published that both companies had received 7,7 million euros from the public company Red just after Sánchez's wife, in July 2020, recommended the companies in writing. But, in addition to that money, this newspaper has discovered a new trail of contracts awarded to this business tandem that amounts to another 7,9 million euros. In total, 15,6 million euros.
