The meeting of a few hundred million euros to be held in Maspalomas

Luxury tourism in Maspalomas is holding a meeting this month that will be valued at a good few million euros (on the low side)

Luxury tourism in the south of Gran Canaria is in luck. Next weekend there will be a feast surrounded by the most exclusive and luxurious cars in the world. This is an international elegance contest that lands in the Canary Islands for the first time and that the organizing company itself defines as “the toy garden for seniors.”

The competition-exhibition will take place next Saturday, April 13 at the Maspalomas Golf Club and is the second stop on the event's international tour after passing through Andorra in mid-March. According to the poster announcing the event, the tour plans to visit 6 more cities between the peninsula and Portugal before ending in December in Miami.

Precisely the poster serves as a preview of what can be expected in a few days. In the image you can see 6 vehicles, including a Ferrari 250 GTO, an Aston Martin Valkyrie and a Porsche Dakar.

To put things in context, the most famous and recognized bidding and auction house in the world, Sotheby's, auctioned a Ferrari like the one shown on the poster for $47 million; a low price, since appraisers valued the car at more than 60 million. It was the most expensive Ferrari sold at auction.

Continuing with the poster, the Porsche Dakar easily passes the threshold of 200.000 euros and the Aston Martin Valkyrie is one of the most exclusive cars on the planet; designed by the renowned engineer of the Red Bull Formula 1 team, Adrian Newey, and with a stock of 150 units that have sold for more than three million euros. Among the 150 lucky people who have been able to afford to drive this exclusive toy are Max Verstappen, three-time Formula 1 champion, and Fernando Alonso.

It is unknown if these are the final cars that will arrive in Gran Canaria, but they are the ones that the organization has decided to use to promote their event. Although they will not be the only ones since, according to the company, in addition to supercars, exclusive motorcycles, one-off (personalized cars), classics and even military vehicles will be exhibited. In addition there will also be an exhibition of luxury watches.

In the videos and photos published from the event held in Andorra a few weeks ago you can see brands such as Bentley, Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini and even racing cars.

Apart from the exhibition and competition of cars, motorcycles and watches; The organization announces that it will be a complete event, with a special reception, Spanish wine tasting, open bar, dinner, concert and party until midnight. Despite being a private event.

Despite being a private event, the company has put tickets on sale for access at a price that, logically, is not accessible to all budgets: 95 euros for the cheapest with drinks and snacks and 350 for the most expensive, with access 'VIP' (which is not specified in the advertisement), lunch at the Golf Club and 'gala dinner' at the Lopesan Costa Meloneras.
