The four establishments that provide bar and restaurant services in the town of Fataga have confirmed their active participation in the celebration of the I Rural Women's Fair that will be held this Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m., in the shaded surroundings of the public square.
The bars-restaurants El Labrador, El Albaricoque, Fataga and Los Giles thus join the project orchestrated by the Department of Culture directed by the second deputy mayor, Elena Álamo Vega, with the aim of revitalizing the economic and cultural life of this town of the midlands of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, and make it known.

“Fataga is a reference tourist stop for thousands of tourists who in the high season decide to hike through the interior of the Island looking for the landscapes and native populations. However, there are still many local and Canarian populations who are unaware of its existence and location despite being one of the most charming picturesque towns not only in Gran Canaria but in the entire Canary Islands. Organizing this type of fair and festive events contributes to promoting knowledge of the populations and the landscape, commercial, leisure and restaurant proposals offered by the numerous centers and scattered in the midlands of this municipality,” says Elena Álamo.
