The Magüe club member took the victory after beating Héctor Gónzalez and Alberto Talavera, who completed the championship podium
Alberto Saavedra López won the 2024 Canary Islands Indoor Apnea Championship this weekend, after achieving a total of 295,11 points in the different tests of the category, 50 more than the second place; Héctor González Machín, from Club Pejín, who scored 242,90 points.
The Magüe club's score of 97,86 in the dynamic test helped him mark the distance with Héctor González.
Antonio Talavera Culebras, Saavedra's teammate at Club Magüe, completed the podium with a score of 232,37.
The championship was held at the Real Club Naútico de Santa Cruz de Tenerife and was organized by the Canarian Federation of Underwater Activities (FEDECAS), belonging to the Spanish Federation of Underwater Activities (FEDAS).
