The Port Authority of Las Palmas increases its total traffic by 8,44% accumulated from January to March 2024, with 7.606.292 tons.

 

The Port of Las Palmas is the one with the best data, that is, an increase of 9,53% with 6.596.116 tons accumulated in the first quarter of the year.

 

They are followed, in order, by the Port of Puerto del Rosario, with an increase of 5,99% and 347.198 tons; and the Port of Arrecife, with an increase of 4,03% and 438.006 tons. On the opposite side are the Port of Salinetas, which decreased its total traffic by -3,41%, with 170.149 tons; and the Port of Arinaga, with a decrease of -18,41% with 54.823 tons of total traffic.

 

The interannual variation of the first quarter of 2024 compared to 2023 for the five ports of the Port Authority presents the following data in the main indicators:

 

Passenger traffic: +7,72% (+9,35% on regular line and +6,97% on cruise line); tons of merchandise: +8,44% with 6.907.919 tons; tons of frozen fishing: +1,57%, with 54.908 tons; tons of fresh fishing: -47,06% with 63 tons; tons of fuel: +11,28% with 617.394 tons; TEU units: +14,98% with 328.683 units; tons of containerized general merchandise: +17,79% with 3.616.165 tons; Ro-Ro traffic units: -0,01% with 90.241 units; and tons of Ro-Ro traffic: +4,61% with 1.216.382 tons.

 

For the Port of Las Palmas, the interannual variation of the accumulated January-March 2024-2023 reflects the following data in the main indicators: 

 

Passenger traffic: +6,97% (+9,70% on regular line and +4,56% on cruise line); tons of merchandise: +9,51% with 5.912.025 tons; tons of frozen fishing: +3,85% with 52.823 tons; tons of fresh fishing: -87,10% with 4 tons; tons of fuel: +11,33% with 615.315 tons; TEU units: +15,59% with 302.047 TEUS; tons of containerized general merchandise: +18,51% with 3.405.630 tons, Ro-Ro traffic units: -0,01% with 62.169; and tons of Ro-Ro traffic: +4,26% with 864.545 tons.

The Port of Las Palmas has had a monthly variation from March 2024 compared to February 2024 of +9,35%, with 190.990 tons.

 

The Port of Arrecife has had a monthly variation from March 2024 compared to February 2024 of +15,79%, with 20.626 tons.

The Port of Puerto del Rosario has had a monthly variation from March 2024 compared to February 2024 of +19,88%, with 21.706 tons.

 

The Port of Salinetas has had a monthly variation from March 2024 compared to February 2024 of +136,03%, with 43.948 tons.

 

The Port of Arinaga has had a monthly variation from March 2024 compared to February 2024 of -57,90%, with -10.744 tons.
