At around 15:11 p.m., the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 112 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert in which it was reported that a jet ski had lost control on the coast of Mogán and its occupant had collided with the breakwater rocks.
The SUC personnel confirmed that the affected woman, 28 years old, had very serious injuries and was in cardiorespiratory arrest, so they performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers on her that were unsuccessful and finally confirmed her death.
112 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources. The police officers, Civil Guard and Local Police, carried out the corresponding procedures. The Mogán Civil Protection team collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources along with the Firefighters of the Gran Canaria Emergency Consortium.
