The previous sentence is the property of the mayor of Mogán, Onalia Bueno, in relation to vacation homes. Until now, Bueno had contributed 1.500 votes to the Canary Coalition (CC) and zero local alliances from her party Juntos Por Mogán.

According to the analysis that is being carried out, the average tourist tax is around at 2,5% or 3%, which would mean, if applied in the municipality, an annual collection of about 2 million euros.
