The work carried out consists of modifying the side façade, which until now had the same walls and doors as the surrounding homes, so the rectangular openings in its two doors have been changed to openings finished in an arch. The church also did not offer proper ventilation inside, so three window openings also finished in arches have also been opened and stained glass windows with religious motifs have been added. Furthermore, above the sacristy, a small storage room has been created where objects of worship not necessary at certain times of the liturgical year can be deposited and stored, such as images, candelabras, vases, among others. On the other hand, the bell tower staircase had irregular steps that posed a serious risk, which is why it has been replaced by another cat ladder, reserved for the exclusive use of the bell ringer. In addition, the warehouse has been remodeled to provide it with better and greater lighting, as well as

During the inauguration ceremony, the parish priest, Isidoro Sánchez, mentioned the great help and involvement of the team that designed, projected and carried out the reform, and especially thanked the support received by the Department of Citizen Participation of the San Bartolomé City Council when considering “that "It is a success that secular institutions understand and support the needs of buildings that are places of reference and participation for the people."
