Don't even think about July 22: tourist tricks for booking in the south of Gran Canaria

Tourists who come to the south of Gran Canaria in summer know Latin with prices and many times Canarians who travel to Europe get mixed up and don't realize it; but the offers go both ways. If you are a civil servant with credit in the bank to buy vacations, you should know that Expedia has warned Jet2, Ryanair, TUI and Easyjet passengers not to fly on a specific date this summer. We say civil servants because those who can choose to come and go whenever they want, not like the self-employed or employees who, in addition to little money, have to be aware of payment days and strikes.

But ahead of the spring and summer season, a travel expert has issued a warning on British tourist prices for southern Gran Canaria saying not to fly on July 22. Jet2, Ryanair, TUI and Easyjet are four of the airlines and operators that travel most frequently to Gran Canaria along with British Airways. A team of travel experts have shared the cheapest dates to travel by plane during the summer holidays.

According to Expedia research to which Maspalomas24H has had access, the cheapest days to book an international flight this summer to the south of Gran Canaria are June 2, June 13 or August 28. And UK tourists and holidaymakers waiting until August 28 to leave also have a great chance of bagging a holiday deal.

UK tourists may want to avoid booking a flight on July 22, 23 or 29, as these are the most expensive days to travel according to Expedia research. For domestic flights, July 28, August 19, and August 23 have the best prices yet, according to Expedia.

June 30, July 8, and July 16 are the most expensive days to book a domestic flight this summer. Expedia also recommends booking an international flight on a Thursday to save 15 percent off the price of a weekend flight and found that morning flights are more likely to avoid cancellations. In some cases, flights leaving after 3 p.m. are 50 percent more likely to be cut. If you're flying domestically, stay during the week, especially Wednesdays, where prices are 20 percent lower than weekends, Expedia also found. The cheapest international flights were found on June 2, June 13 and August 28, while the cheapest domestic flights were on July 28, August 19 and August 23. The best day to fly internationally was Thursday, according to Expedia.
