The Department of Celebrations and Events of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council wants to clarify that the negotiations carried out with the owners of food stalls and with the fairgrounds of the attractions for the El Tablero and San Fernando Festivals have been carried out with the objective that these contribute income to the Festival Commissions of both towns that will allow them to invest and improve the celebration of the festivals. For this reason, and after the agreement reached, he would like to first thank the Festival Commissions for their support in the demand and the fairgrounders for understanding and accepting the proposal made by the area directed by Yilenia Vega (CC).
Vega indicates that despite not having reached an agreement in the first meetings, they have acted “bravely and defending that the benefits that the fairgrounders receive for installing their stalls and attractions have an impact on the town, through their Festival Commissions.” ”. Vega indicates that the stallholders have understood and accepted the agreement that offers “greater transparency when managing the spaces occupied by each attraction or food stand and directly benefits the neighbors, given that the income that the Festival Commissions will receive will be more than double that of previous years.” It is “a success that the Department of Celebrations and Events has fought and managed to change this formula used until last year,” concludes Vega.
