Representatives of Senegal explore Gran Canaria as a Health Platform for Africa

 

During the program of visits, the guests had the privilege of exploring the internationally renowned facilities of the San Roque University Hospitals in Maspalomas and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. These visits, guided by experts, offered an in-depth and enlightening insight into the medical and technological excellence that characterizes the island.

 

 

Beyond the core activities, Senegalese representatives had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich culture and vibrant commercial environment of Gran Canaria, exploring the iconic neighborhoods of Triana and Vegueta, as well as the varied offering of Mesa and López, including a visit especially to El Corte Inglés. A moment of relaxation and enjoyment was experienced with a serene walk along the acclaimed Las Canteras Beach.

 

 

The program also included leisure and relaxation time, such as a tour of the majestic Maspalomas Lighthouse and a delicious lunch at La Punta Yacht Club , located in the exclusive Pasito Blanco Marina. Our guests enjoyed a stay at the intimate and distinguished Boutique Hotel Cordial Malteses, providing a welcoming and comfortable environment.

 

 

Among the distinguished participants on the trip were representatives from renowned media outlets such as Sentv Infos (Groupe Vision Communication) and Dakar Actu , whose work has been fundamental in disseminating information in Senegal for over a decade. Likewise, the presence of the President and members of Lisca (Ligue Senegalaise Contre Le Cancer) underscores their commitment to promoting cancer treatments and overall health.

 

 

The delegation also included representatives from prominent media outlets such as Le Soleil and La Tribune , as well as Dr. Diakhaté from Cidis (Centre D'Imagerie De Diagostique Et Interventionnelle de Soumbedioune) , whose dedication to wellness and health has transcended borders.
