The Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1 1 2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received, around 21:41 p.m. yesterday, a call reporting the overturning of a car whose passengers had left by their own means, in the GC-1 highway, at Vecindario, southbound, in Santa Lucía de Tirajana.
An 18-year-old girl who, at the initial moment of assistance, had severe multiple contusions, was evacuated in a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the Doctor Negrín University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
The second 21-year-old woman who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented a moderate upper limb trauma, was transferred by sanitized ambulance from the SUC to the Doctor Negrín University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
The health personnel assessed the two affected women and, after stabilizing them, proceeded to evacuate them to the aforementioned hospital center. Firefighters secured the vehicle and collaborated with displaced resources. The Civil Guard was in charge of carrying out the corresponding report and the Road Maintenance Service personnel carried out cleaning work on the road.
