The union that took charge of Leche Millac is now going after Lopesan

The long-standing union in Millac Milk, UGT, which agreed to dismiss its staff before the disappearance of the food company as a last attempt to help its workers, charged this Monday against Lopesan.

UGT denounces poor working conditions and asks for "such as salary increases, economic variants, co-responsibility measures, more hiring, less workload" and "more attention and respect for the physical and mental risks of the company." The regional TV network of Tenerife, which rarely goes to the south of Gran Canaria to cover anything from the economic capital of the Canary Islands, covered the demonstration at the doors of the Lopesan Costa Meloneras hotel, "as the start of a calendar of mobilizations".

The union center says that the company has with its employees "labor management of pure marketing, facing the gallery, and with very little respect for the dignity of the people and the staff" and their "rights, hidden with promises and projects without concretion". The headquarters expresses its concern about occupational risk. “We expose ourselves to insecurity, with a large dose of presumed fear, where the company always wins by half-deceiving the workers. It does not financially recognize the great effort we make, due to the workload and not being participants in the great benefits that the company obtains." UGT demands to establish a working group at Lopesan Hotels as soon as possible "as a true desire to reach agreements."
