Anfi becomes the capital of Norway

Anfi celebrates in style the norwegian national day and transforms throughout the day into improvised capital of the Scandinavian country. On this special anniversary, the parade of Nordic citizens, music, flags and songs are never missing. A quote that is always repeated at Anfi, thanks in part to the founder of Anfi, the Norwegian, Björn Lyng. The massive parade, led by the 'Norwegian School of Arguineguín' and representatives of the Norwegian community, displayed national flags on a very different Friday, according to a statement.

Specifically, Arguineguín is one of the favorite enclaves of this community not only to spend their vacations, but to reside with their families. The best proof is the massive procession of natives that every year 'takes' Anfi in a fun and colorful procession to surround the heart island. The final goal was the Plaza de Anfi del Mar, decorated for the solemn occasion with hundreds of national flags and all attendees singing the national anthem. In fact, more than half a million Norwegians (10% of the population) choose the Canary Islands to spend their holidays. “Talking about Norway is doing it in a very direct way about Anfi, since the Norwegians are a very important client for us,” the statement says. During the high season (October to March), the statement continues, represents more than 60% of the occupancy of Anfi complexes and constitutes an expense much higher than the average per week in the five hotels that make up the Anfi Group.
