Two ICHH extractive units will be located from May 27 to 31 at the Maspalomas Cultural Center and the Plaza de la Iglesia de El Tablero
Next week, from May 27 to 31, the Canarian Institute of Hemodonation and Hemotherapy (ICHH) faces a new blood donation campaign among the population of the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
The campaign will be carried out by specialized personnel from the Canarian Health Service in two mobile units that will be located in the usual locations of San Fernando de Maspalomas and El Tablero.
Both Mayor Marco Aurelio Pérez Sánchez and the Delegate Councilor for Health, Araceli Armas Cruz, call for the participation of the residents of the municipality “in this important solidarity initiative that aims to address the needs for the reserve and availability of plasma.” that the medical hospital centers of the island of Gran Canaria constantly require for transfusions and their surgical operation.”
The extractions in San Fernando, coinciding with the festive celebration of this town, will be carried out in the Plaza del Camellero, next to the Maspalomas Cultural Center, from May 27 to 31 in the morning and afternoon, specifically from 09:00 to 14 :00 hours, and from 16:00 to 21:00 hours.
In El Tablero, the extractive unit will be located in the Plaza de la Iglesia. There it will be operational on Monday the 27th only in the afternoon, from 16:00 p.m. to 21:00 p.m., and on Tuesday the 28th in both the morning and afternoon hours, from 09:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. and from 16:00 p.m. to 21:00 p.m.
This is the second blood donation campaign that the Canary Institute of Hemodonation organizes this year in the municipality. The previous one took place in the same traditional locations during the first two days of last February.
