The couple formed by Cristian Linares Santillán and Marco Martín Hernández was proclaimed last weekend with 38 points as the winner in the scratch category of the II Desokupa Canarias Tournament, the first qualifying event of the XXVI Maspalomas Golf Cup Circuit, which was held at Maspalomas Golf, with the participation of 104 players. The awards ceremony was chaired by directors of the sponsoring company specializing in real estate security, Desokupa Canarias.
In the handicap category, the couples formed by María Betancor de La Torre and Mappy Lagares were first with 47 points, with second prize going to José Javier Casasús and Añaterve Cruz with 46 points and third for the couple formed by Pablo Suárez and Mariano Vidal with 44 points.
The special prizes went to Tomás Arrieta for the longest men's drive on the 9th hole, the longest women's drive on the 10th hole as well as the closest ball to the flag on the 3rd hole for Tamara Brito, and the closest ball to flag on the 16th hole in the men's category for David Callow.
The winners of the different categories received direct qualification to play in the Grand Final of the Maspalomas Golf Cup Circuit, bonuses for 6 and 4 plays (green fees) at Maspalomas Golf, Bridgestone, Taylor Made, Galvin Green and Titleist golf equipment.
