At around 13:17 p.m., the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received a call reporting that a person had fallen in the Roque Nublo area.
The rescuers from the GES helicopter reached the victim, who had fallen from a great height, and verified that she had injuries incompatible with life. After the corresponding authorization, they recovered the body of the deceased woman and transferred it to the helisurface of the Pozo de Las Nieves where it was placed at the disposal of the judicial authority.
The SUC medical helicopter landed at the base of Roque Nublo but, after confirmation of the death of the affected person, it left the place.
The Firefighters of the Gran Canaria Emergency Consortium and the Civil Guard intervened in the device deployed in the area.
