Neighbors warned of a vehicle driving recklessly early in the morning
As if it were the filming of the latest Fast & Furious movie, the residents of Balos witnessed this morning a movie chase that ended up leaving four police officers injured and a restaurant in the area damaged after the vehicle crashed into its facade.
It all started at 6:30 in the morning, when several neighbors raised the alarm that a vehicle (specifically a gray Volkswagen) was driving erratically and recklessly through the streets of Balos.
Shortly after the first calls, a Local Police patrol located the car and stopped it on Acebuche Street, but the driver (whose details and status are unknown at the moment) ignored the car and fled, beginning the a chase that several neighbors shared on social networks.
A Civil Guard patrol joined the work, which lasted until after 7 in the morning, when after playing cat and mouse through the streets of Balos, the driver crashed head-on into the Hatuey restaurant, right in in front of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish of Balos.
Four agents were slightly injured and, at the moment, it is unknown the condition and whether any alcohol and drug tests were carried out on the escaped driver, who was detained by the agents.
