He had a court order of arrest in force, in addition to being wanted for a crime of attack against members of the Agüimes Local Police and another against road safety for reckless driving, both committed on April 14, ramming a vehicle stolen from the official vehicle of a patrol of the aforementioned Agüimes Local Police, until hitting a street lamp in the Arinaga Crossing
This action is the result of the principle of police collaboration that exists between the Civil Guard of Agüimes and the Local Police of Ingenio and Agüimes
On May 25, the Agüimes Civil Guard arrested a 27-year-old person for having a judicial arrest warrant after committing a crime against road safety due to reckless driving and against law enforcement officials when the accused attacked the official vehicle of the Agüimes Local Police with a stolen vehicle.
The events that motivated the court order occurred on April 14, after the now detained man evaded a local police checkpoint in Agüimes and fled. All of this gave rise, based on the police report, to the generation of an arrest warrant and appearance in court, in addition to confirming another warrant of the same type for the commission of multiple crimes of robbery inside the home, in the southern area of the island of Gran Canaria.
As a result of the collaboration and coordination between the police forces, a joint follow-up was initiated in order to know the whereabouts of the requested person, resulting in its interception last Saturday, May 25, in coordination with the Ingenio Local Police, when it was in suspicious attitude on República Argentina Street in the aforementioned municipality, being immediately handed over to Civil Guard agents from the Agüimes Main Post and formally detained.
After his arrest, the Agüimes Civil Guard carried out the police report for the aforementioned crimes, in addition to another against road safety, for never having obtained a driving license and two crimes of damage to the official vehicle of the Agüimes Local Police, in addition to those produced in street furniture, leaving the detainee at the disposal of the corresponding Telde court.
