The Medplus parapharmacy chain has opened in Maspalomas with a 71-square-meter store that stands out for its unique personality and design. The company has transformed a jewelry store in the Varadero shopping center, owned by Lopesan, into a center that even includes a manicure and pedicure area that is distinguished by wallpaper with plant motifs, contrasting with an intense blue wall that elegantly delimits the different areas.
On the other hand, the company specialized in home care and assistance, Cuideo, and the delivery technology company Glovo, have signed a collaboration agreement that will make it easier for older people and their families to access parapharmacy products through the application. from Glovo with three free months of subscription to Glovo Prime.
As reported by both companies, specifically, older people or their relatives who decide to buy Cuideo products through the Glovo application will be able to order and receive, without shipping costs, the parapharmacy products they need in an average of 30 minutes.
With this agreement, Cuideo makes products from more than 1.000 pharmacies available to users, which in total add up to more than 41.000 item references available through the Glovo application. The co-founder of Cuideo and Director of Expansion, Guillermo Molina, stated that “we constantly seek to expand our range of services to facilitate the daily lives of families and offer the most complete care possible, always with technology as a key ally.”
For his part, Glovo's 'Q-commerce' director for Spain, Borja Olazabal, stressed that "we are convinced that technology is capable of contributing to improving people's quality of life." This new agreement is part of Glovo's commitment to parapharmacy and to extend ultra-fast deliveries of all types of products.
