The Minister of Economic Development presents the eleventh edition of the 'Bridal Collection, Gran Canaria Moda Cálida' catwalk that returns with the participation of 11 Canarian firms

 

The event 'Bridal Collection, Gran Canaria Moda Cálida', dedicated to the bridal sector, first communion and other ceremonies, returns this year to an emblematic building on the island such as the Hotel Santa Catalina with participation on the 26th, 27th and 28th of June of eleven Canarian brands - one guest from Tenerife, another from Lanzarote and another from La Palma - and some new features such as a larger capacity - up to 250 people - and a more intimate catwalk but with a longer route, with no other objective than to show the collections of these creators and highlight the atellier and exclusivity - the craftsmanship and a delicate taste for taking care of every detail - typical of these pieces.

 

The event, which has established itself as an unmissable event and a benchmark for the sector on the Island, was presented today by the Minister of Economic Development, Minerva Alonso, in an event in which the island director of Industry and Commerce was also present. , Juan Manuel Gabella, the director of Two Events - the winning company - Miguel Ángel Blanco, and some of the participating designers such as Aurelia Gil, Pedro Palmas, Paula Delgado or Gianluca Urraso, and which took place on the Alis Terrace of the same hotel that will house the parades.

The catwalk will begin in the hotel's Atrium, to continue to the Miguel Martín-Fernández de la Torre room, where the lighting and sound will be reinforced and where in this eleventh edition a more natural style has been chosen for the furniture, using wooden chairs. wicker for both areas of the show and a decoration featuring tall plants, forming small 'forests' along the entire length of the catwalk.

 

The invitation to each of the parades will be made through a protocol department, which will be in charge of sending the digital ticket to the people who will attend. In this sense, the counselor predicted a full house like every year, and highlighted as one of the main objectives of this event "to reach the citizens and send them the message to buy local products, which is a unique opportunity to meet the "one-on-one designer in his workshop and to support top-quality work that is committed to artisanal work and that is absolutely sustainable, since it is completely manufactured on the Island."

 

News also from the point of view of communication, since in addition to the hiring of 'influencers' and the advertising campaign prior to the event, for the first time, a subsequent campaign will be carried out, a few months later, to make profitable and increase the presence of the images and the dissemination of the collections in networks and specialized media.

 

Guests from Tenerife, Lanzarote and La Palma 

 

The catwalk starts on Wednesday at 20:00 p.m. with the Oswaldo Machin show, from Lanzarote, and Ogadenia Couture at 21:00 p.m.

 

On Thursday it will be the turn of the new talents, Paula Delgado and Gianluca Urraso, at 19:00 p.m., followed at 20:00 p.m. by Amarca, from Tenerife and closing at 21:00 p.m. by Aurelia Gil.

 

The last day will begin at 18:00 p.m. with the Isla Bonita Moda brand Pedro Juan, from La Palma, followed by Diazar Atelier and Zaira Rodso at 19:00 p.m.; Lucas Balboa at 20.00:21 p.m. and closing, Palmas at 00:XNUMX p.m.

 

In addition to the firms, the event has the participation of up to 30 companies as direct suppliers, including assembly, production of specific elements, purchase of various materials, media, modeling agencies, etc.
