At around 11:52 a.m., the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1 1 2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert in which they reported that a vehicle had left the road and fallen into a ravine about 800 meters deep. in Lomo de Pedro Alfonso, San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
The vehicle was left in an area that was difficult to access for emergency vehicles on the ground, so the GES helicopter was activated to proceed to the rescue of those possibly affected.
Upon arrival, the rescuers confirmed that the only occupant of the vehicle had injuries incompatible with life, so, with judicial authorization, they proceeded to recover him and transfer him to the El Berriel Aerodrome.
The Civil Guard took charge of carrying out the appropriate procedures.
