The chief executive of Lopesan Hotels, José Daniel Alba, who left the group's subsidiary in Germany last December, said this Wednesday that the Loro Parque project in the south of Gran Canaria on public land is usefull for tourist demand and complement the business offer.
The general director of Lopesan said on social networks that "it is a great opportunity to take steps forward to execute the Siam Park project in Gran Canaria, I am convinced that it would provide a boost to our offer as a quality tourist destination."
Alba's opinion has been launched just at the moment in which the Advisory Council of the Canary Islands has agreed with the City Council of San Bartolomé de Tirajana against Loro Parque, owner of Siam Park, when it claimed 120 million euros of lost profits for not do things right when requesting a land concession for use in the theme park. We must not forget that in that theme park there would be a hotel, with completely free flooring, and that there are hoteliers like Relaxia (Pérez Moreno) who have paid 52 million for a hotel that was previously owned by Rumasa.
Alba has referred to the fiscal patronage projects of the Loro Parque Fundación because "they have a positive impact on our land (and our oceans). For us it is a pleasure to collaborate with them in the celebration of World Oceans Day" time "that they play a key role in the Canary Islands economy with projects such as Siam Park, which has established itself as the best water park in the world on Tripadvisor."
