San Roque University Hospitals in Maspalomas: Headquarters of the 1st Endoscopy Course for Bariatric Surgery

 

 

On June 27 and 28, the General and Digestive Surgery team at San Roque University Hospitals in Maspalomas, led by Dr. Enric Fernández, hosted about fifteen surgeons from all the islands to carry out an introductory course to endoscopy. intraoperative for pre- and post-surgical assessment of bariatric surgery. This technique allows us to detect possible injuries that could cause complications derived from surgery, thus facilitating their prevention and treatment in a less aggressive manner.

 

 

This first edition has been organized in collaboration with the Spanish Society of Obesity Surgery and MBA Surgical Empowerment.
