Fire in a building in San Fernando de Maspalomas

 

 

 

At around 20:21 p.m., the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1 1 2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert reporting a fire in the kitchen of a home, in a five-story building, which It affected three properties, on Avenida de Tunte, San Fernando, San Bartolomé de Tirajana.

 

 

Upon arriving at the scene, the San Bartolomé Tirajana firefighters proceeded to extinguish the fire. SUC personnel were deployed in the area with a wide range of resources to assess and assist the eight affected people, including two minors. 

 

After the assessment by the medical ambulance personnel, with support from the rapid intervention vehicle, they were evacuated to the aforementioned health centers:

 

A woman who, at the initial moment of care, presented moderate poisoning due to smoke inhalation, was transferred in a sanitized ambulance from the SUC to Hospiten Roca.

 

A 48-year-old Arón man who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented a mild anxiety crisis, was evacuated in a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the San Roque Maspalomas University Hospital.

 

A 46-year-old man who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented a mild anxiety crisis, was transferred in a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the San Roque Maspalomas University Hospital.

 

A 45-year-old man who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented with mild poisoning due to smoke inhalation, was evacuated in a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the San Roque Maspalomas University Hospital.

 

A 51-year-old man who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented with mild poisoning due to smoke inhalation, was evacuated in a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the San Roque Maspalomas University Hospital.

 

A woman who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented with mild poisoning due to smoke inhalation, was evacuated in a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the San Roque Maspalomas University Hospital.

 

A one-year-old child who, at the initial time of assistance, presented with mild poisoning due to smoke inhalation, was transferred in a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the San Roque Maspalomas University Hospital.

 

A seven-year-old minor who, at the initial time of assistance, presented with mild poisoning due to smoke inhalation, was transferred in a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the San Roque Maspalomas University Hospital.

 

The police services, Local Police and National Police, collaborated with the rest of the participants.
