The General Directorate of Energy of the Canary Islands has put on public display a request to place a hybrid photovoltaic plant next to the El Rodeo wind farm, in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, promoted by Ecoener that is camouflaged under the name Yesquera de Aluce, SL The investment The commitment is 1,9 million euros for an impact of 5.012 photovoltaic modules from the Chinese brand LongiSolar on an underground evacuation line that will connect the plant with El Rodeo, in the Matorral substation. It is a fictitious investment because even the tow truck service is contracted in Las Palmas. At most some municipal taxes and a guardian position while the work lasts. Ecoener has sealed, together with a consortium of seven financial entities, the expansion of a sustainable syndicated loan for a total of 50 million euros, expandable up to 80 million. The company has reported that the entities that will participate in the operation, which is coordinated by BBVA, are Banco Santander, Société Générale, Banca March, Kutxabank, EBN Banco and Banco Sabadell. The new financing maintains the structure of the original operation, signed in 2022, and allows to accelerate the development of Ecoener's strategic and international growth plan.
In 2023, Ecoener achieved revenues of 64 million euros and a net profit of 12 million. This represents 147% more than in the first half of the year, in which it obtained 3,5 million euros, despite the fall in prices of energy produced in Spain.
