And we have done so with a roadmap that has not deviated from its fundamental objectives and has refused to delve into gas intricacies that would have delayed and played against this transition. The incorporation of the new photovoltaic plants that were to be inaugurated in Telde and Agüimes add new and important pieces to this great puzzle to compose a more sustainable future for our territory. And they also contributeéto consolidate the island's position as the leading island territory in the introductionn of energyrenewable energy in the archipelagoélake.
The data on the introduction of renewables are very eloquent. In Gran Canaria, the total installed renewable power in the month of April 2024 was 382,6 MW compared to 343,8 MW on the island of Tenerife and 134 MW in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. The production of renewables in Gran Canaria is 217 GWh compared to 172,3 GWh in Tenerife and 70 in the rest of the islands.
The integration of renewables is 20% on our island compared to 15% in Tenerife and 14% in Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. And a very important fact is that the discharges amount to 21.258 MWh, which multiplies by four that of the other islands and speaks of the need and opportunity to have storage resources for this energy.as for what we have Chira Jump, which will fulfill this functionón primordial.

Likewise, and given the importance of involving the entire social and economic fabric of Gran Canaria in this paradigm shift, we have multiplied the incentives for self-consumption or the implementation of energy communities and right now we are also leadingén this statistic, so that almost half of this production variant is concentrated on the island. Likewise, our commitment to continue adding will to this transformative process has also crystallizedén in the creation of the Office of Community Transformation and Transition Officesn Energyética or in the Covenant of the Mayorsthem. In addition, we are the first territory in the archipelago to have a Strategy for Mitigation and Adaptation to Climate Change.
However, we are aware that the challenges are so important that we cannot stop here. For this reason, we have a strategy, that allow usto reach 60% penetration of clean energy in 2030, which includes new milestones that confirm the island's leading position, including the fact that Gran Canaria will be the first territory in the State where offshore wind will be implemented after the agreement reached with the Ministry of Transitionn Ecolólogic.
And in this landscape of the future, what will stand out in the short term, as I told you at the beginning of this text, is the entry into the scene of the Salto de Chira power plant as a great resource for storage and introduction of renewables and for the production of water for agriculture. This project, which takes advantage of the dams built by our ancestors and inherits their strategic visionélogic, it also containsén the principles of energy sovereigntyéethics, food sovereignty and water securitydrica. And behind them will come others with similar functioning, taking advantage of other dams and generating other jumps, this time with salt water.
These axes are, at the same time, the foundations of an island based on a more integrative and ecological economic and social development.gic. Therefore, projects such as those that have just been inaugurated in Gran Canaria strengthen this trajectory towards sustainability, and they also do so by generating employment and diversification.n económica.
